Tinkering after 500

I have a lvl 500 tinkerer and although she still does the daily tinkering quests, she doesn't get any skill-ups. She has scribed the Deepforge tinkering blueprints, hoping that using those was the answer, but her lvl pointer stays firmly on the 500. Before she throws a tantrum of truly gnomish proportions and wrecks my crafting hall, would somebody please tell her (and me) what she's not doing. Thank you.

    Do you have PoP?

Yes I do - standard, not the fancy edition

Is tinkering not tied into adventure lvl ?
So you need to be 110 to gain rest of the points?

You do? oh (rude word edited). Guess it's not going to happen then :(

Doesn't have to be adventure level only. If your tradeskill level is higher, then that is what will dictate how high you can go on tinkering. Either ts/adv will work.

Yep. Tinkering and adorning have always been tied to your TS or Adv level. You can advance it according to whichever is higher, but it doesn't allow increases on it's own.

    It is
    usually tied to crafting level.

It can also be tied to adventure level -- I've seen a lvl 110 adventurer / lvl 100 crafter --
that is a maxed out as tinkerer and adorner ( yes over 500) ... so it can be adventure level too as far as I can tell from this
