Hey everyone! The Saga of Lucimia is currently OPEN for recruiting on the Isle of Refuge (Free Trade) server, with a primary focus on Eastern Time evening players. Our prime sessions are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (though we have people on at random times since many of us work from home) 8 p.m. - 11 p.m., and we're big fans of static groups, community, and old-school gaming. We started here a few months ago with the intent to level up to Kunark, level-cap at 80, and do our Mythical raids. We started from scratch and within three months we've done that. We have a core of 10-12 who play regularly, and we have all but two people with Mythical weapons after raiding with the help of our mercs. Now, we're getting a couple of people caught up over February while simultaneously working on The Shadow Odyssey Signature and Raid lines, and then we are preparing to unlock and head to Velious, where we'll level up again and then level-lock at 90 to start working on the signature and raid lines for Velious for the next few months. We're closing in on guild level 40. We're super laid-back, and this is a no pressure, friendly group of gaming folks. We're a small group of indie developers who have a strong community of players we game with in other games in between our alpha testing sessions. The last couple of years we've gotten together in Project 1999 for two different four month sessions, and we've also done SW:TOR and ESO as a unit. There's usually 15-20 of us who roll through any given time we decide to hang out in a game, minimum, and we generally hold open recruitment as we go along, helping others to level up and making new friends along the way. We take it slow, we don't rush, and we do things old-school: community first, friendships first, and slooooooowed down. We're not here to rush to the cap. As mentioned, we're actually level-locking, even though it doesn't bring things down to original challenge rating. If you think you might be interested, look us up in game.
Hey folks! Thanks to those who have stopped by and said hi as we've been getting characters rolled, crafters going, and setting up for our launch date! We've got a third static group filling up now, and who knows where we'll end up! Looking forward to getting to know the server over the next few months. Been Trying to get a hold of someone the last few days with no Luck . May be because of play times...
There's been at least half a dozen of us on most nights the past couple of nights, Eastern Time,since we put up this post and launched the guild, but don't forget that the official "start" date for our little venture is November 28th, so it's expected that we'll be a little thin until then. Mon, Wed, and Fri are our "prime" nights. Right now people are logging in, getting mains started, alts started, crafting, and we'll be a bit here and there until that official start date, what with Thanksgiving coming up next week, and other commitments (our own alpha servers are up for Thanksgiving until Sunday night, so there likely won't be many of us on those four nights either). So if we don't get you sorted out before the 28th, that'll be for sure when you can chat with one of us. I'll personally be on this evening around 7 p.m. (look for me on Renfail or Thanon) Eastern, but only for an hour or so; tonight is D&D night. Meanwhile, you can always reach us via our forums here (with info to our Discord channel and the like).
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone We're still recruiting! Our crew of 15 (as of this writing) will be heading out on November 28th to start their adventure. There's two full static groups, with three more in group three, and we'll be adding to their group as we start our journey, and possibly filling out a fourth group as well. Rough roadmap is up at the forums above. We'll be doing a mostly Faydwer/Kunark/Velious path over the next few months, and hitting up all the dungeons + signatures and the like along the way. If there's enough of us, we may even go do the Kunark mythical lines as they are level-appropriate. We'll see! Hey, everyone! We're moving right along! Started doing some Agnostic dungeons on Monday, and the bulk of the crew is in the 30+ range now. We've got 12-16 players on during the Mon-Wed-Fri night sessions, and a few playing alts on the other nights/days. Meanwhile, we've got a European arm who will be starting up in January and playing through the U.S. afternoon slots/prime-time Euro evenings, led by our community manager, Elloa (you may know of her from her ESO videos on YouTube or her streams!). We're here for the next few months at the least, so if you want to come hang with a good group of people, let us know! Our current agenda is to level up to 65 over the rest of December into January, then we'll be looking to do the Ruins of Kunark expansion in its entirety, including Mythical raids....even though you don't technically have to do them anymore, while level-locking our toons at 80 (which won't make it as challenging as it was back in the day, but should keep things from being purely easy-mode). Hey everyone! A few people out for holiday fun with families, but we're moving ahead as planned! Last night we did the city raids just for S&Gs to level the guild up (just shy of 20), and Wednesday night we're going to cycle through some of the old T1 and T2 raid content again for fun. Our "rough" goal for December is to get everyone to 50 and the guild to level 30, then we're thinking about turning off EXP and doing the Speak As A Dragon + Fire and Ice just for the hell of it (since we need the former for many other quests, and the latter just for fun). Then once we have the full team back from the holidays, we'll be starting our European crew on top of our existing North American crew and moving into the level 50-65 fun and then into Kunark for Mythicals raiding We aren't rushing. If you want to come have fun, let us know! We were seeing folks talking about leveling 1-100 in two hours last night in General Chat, and we just had to chuckle. We'll take the scenic route. Anyone want to join for the ride, let us know!
Our first round of folks started in on To Speak as a Dragon last week, and finished up this week. We've got another round going through starting tonight, then playing around the Christmas season, and we'll be making the push to Kunark in the New Year. We've got a good chunk of people in the 55 range, and a couple of folks still in the mid/late 40s. Our plan is still to get to Kunark and then cap our EXP at level 80, and then work on getting everyone Mythical weapons (because those raids are hella fun and because we want to!); we'll probably be starting the raids by the end of January. If you are looking for a fun group of folks to hang out with, look us up! We play on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday nights, 8 p.m. until around 11 p.m. Eastern.
