I'm trying to do the "A Thread of Hope" heritage quest, so that means I'm having to do this dungeon repeatedly, hoping to get all the recipes to craft the magmatic armor. Each time I've done it (probably 10 times now), the key mob (A Spurned Alumnus) is conspicuously absent, and there's no way to open the final chest (which occasionally contains a random recipe, IIRC). What gives?
The key chest is only available for void shards and a small amount of coin. If I recall correctly you must be level 75 or 80 to get the key to drop, but if your level while in the zone is under the aforementioned level, there won't be a way to open the chest. If you are above the minimum level, I would put in a bug report.
Ah! OK. That explains that, then. Thanks very much. (No one in General when I've asked on multiple occasions was able to offer any information, and I was getting frustrated.)
