The Bronze Age Guild is currently recruiting! We are an 18+ casual-play guild on the Freeport server that welcomes every class, every level of play experience, and every subscription plan! Our guild is one of the oldest existing guilds on the Freeport server, having been formed August 20th 2010 shortly after Freeport went live. We have a plethera of knowledge between our members and are always open to share advice or group with anyone! We also have a Tier 3 guild hall located in Antonica with various amenities to make your stay in Norrath as comfortable and enjoyable as possible

While we are an 18+ only guild, we ask for respect between all of our members. We do not support flaming, trolling, derrogitory, racist, or slanderous remarks. We have a well-established image within the Freeport-Norrathian community and are very proud of it!

We are also working on a new Guild Charter and a new Guild Website for our members!

For more information, or to join The Bronze Age - please either reply to this thread with your characters name for one of our recruiters to get in contact with you, or send a tell ingame to one of the following individuals:

Here is our new, revamped guild charter for your consideration when joining our guild!

    1. The minimum age to join the guild is 18 years unless a parent or a supervisor is also a member within the guild and is willing to oversee game play.

    2. We agree to conduct ourselves in an appropriate manner and treat all individuals within the game with respect and dignity. When wearing The Bronze Age guild tag, as an individual, you represent the guild as a whole. Chat trolling and foul-play are strongly discouraged.

    3. As a general rule we do not support Power Levelling. Do not expect higher levels to 'rush' you through to end game content. We are all encouraged to group together and help each other when needed, but we believe in the importance of experiencing the game as a whole.

    4. Guild chat should be reserved for in-game topics as much as possible. We are an active and chatty guild and, therefore, there is a need to cut down on excessive 'noise'. The voice chat and /GU channel should both be kept as clean as possible at all times. Negative, derogatory, racist, religious and political views should not enter the Guild Chat. There are private channels that can be utilised for such discussions. Cursing should be kept to a minimum.

    5. All members participating within a group are eligible for looting rights (need before greed) for the character they are currently playing regardless of their rank or time spent within the guild (recruits included). This is a basic PUG (Pick up Group) system form of looting and ensures that everyone participating has equal eligibility to obtain drops that they have contributed towards achieving. Only after all currently-being-played characters have passed on a loot roll will alternate characters be considered for loot rights.

    6. New members will join the guild on a 14 day initiation period and will be ranked as Initiate. This rank will limit the recruits’ usage to basic guild hall amenities such as the mender, travel portals and broker. This period is designed to evaluate potential new members, as well as protect the guild bank and crafting materials for current members. Once the 14 day period has been passed, a promotion will be given which opens up more amenities and access rights to the member. Promotions after this period
are based on level (adventure or crafting) and time spent with the Guild. 'Member' rank is obtained after a 14 days initiation period; 'Veteran Member' rank is obtained on reaching level 60 and having served 60 days with the guild.

    8. Officer-ship is based on actions within the guild. Helping others, organising runs and taking time to be friendly and helpful to others in the guild are all required of a successful officer. The leadership is constantly watching, listening, and helping answer questions. Potential new officers will be considered as necessity arises and will be voted upon by the current administration.

    9. Alternate characters are treated as separate characters. If one of your characters has been promoted, this does not mean that your alternate characters will be promoted to the same level.

    10. Every six months leadership will review the current membership register and will de-guild any character inactive for more than 180 days. Any member removed from the guild in this way is more than welcome to reapply for membership should they return to the game.

    11. If a member chooses, for whatever reason, to remove their main character from the guild, any remaining alternate characters will be allowed to remain in the guild at the level of ‘Member’ and will be demoted to this rank if necessary.

    12. Begging will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Do you have many New Zealand or Australian players?

We have players from all around the world and as you can probably tell from my forum handle I am living in New Zealand :) I am, however, in the minority, the majority of our active players being USA based.
