Mmmh, as pointed out by Myxx on discord, I miscalculated the first time around and never re-calculated the shards again. I probably was off by 10 shards when I typed it first and I typed 24033 shards in the mix, so obviously it's wrong. Taking it back again: Total needed: So we have 10 + 20 + 40 + 80 + 120 shards = 270*3 = 810 coin per item, so 810*3=2430 coins to level everything. 300 coins to buy all items 300 for the rune. So total coins needed on your main is 3030 Alt still needs 600. So total duration is between 32 weeks (3030/96) and 20 weeks for a main, between 7 and 4 weeks on an alt. Test only: 26 weeks to 22 weeks on main, 5 weeks for an alt. (doesn't change much in the long run tbh but sorry for the confusion. sadly not surprised to learn I made a mistake considering the number of time I redid the maths in the middle of the night). So, is it like last year where you need to level three items to level 5 before all shards are free or per item or per item and level? What happens if you get only 2429 coins, for example?
As posted on the post above that one, it's like last year, so everything up to 5 and it'll be unlocked.
Three items to level 5 in order to let the alts upgrade for free. (2 of the 4 accessories and the cloak, basically, since you can't wear more than that) If you come up one coin short, you don't get the unlock, which is the same as past years.
