    Heroic Tree:
Avenging Ancestors, has had its Max AOE Targets removed

Even if they fix one thing on this list i will be happy. Just very frustrating to not be able to solo heal VD on a defiler or mystic in raid gear, then to make a templar and be able to solo VD in quest gear with no purple adorns on is very frustrating

Be careful what you wish for, because it would probably be this:
§ Enhance: Spiritual Circle, each rank also increases the recurrent power cost by 20 %

Wouldn't mind seeing cleric reactives you know react and heal on incoming damage instead of sitting there like a deer in headlights. Too many issues shamans especially that need to be addressed.

You're asking SoE to massively overpower both Casting Expertise and Battle Prowess. No other class except Assassins get anywhere near 20% flurry/SDA from a buff, and the Assns get it from their myth buff.

Mister active troll member, you (not so long ago) expressed the opinion that shaman... a veeeery strong and OP class

Actually Yajii...guardians can get massive flurry increase from Focused Offensive perm buff....I've gone from say 8% to 94% when I turn it on. So in essence there is precedent already...granted FO uses AE auto to convert to flurry going to mostly single target.

I retired my raid defiler not because it was too hard to learn new ways but because wards are simply ineffective with tanks having 1.5m hp. A 34k ward doesn't do a lot with the mobs hitting for so much more. Simply sad watching my wards disappear in 2 seconds from the spell timer window.
  15. Habita New Member

Sony doesn't care about it. They try to kill certain classes and call it a feature. In this expansion thy took the chain-healers and some tank classes like SKs and bruisers.

I haven't been playing...disclaimer. but did the defiler debuffs get anybetter? in EQ1 .. shamans main thang was debuffs with slows and malaisement.. technically we still have these things and a couple AA towards them as well.. not using them always is a sure sign that your not increasing the groups dps through mit debuffs or decreasing mobs dps through stat debuffs and multiple slows.

Frankly, it is a question not an assertion.
  17. Mktavish01 Member

The last sort of consensus I heard about it was that debuffs needed some consolidation. Not sure if that was sort of just a band aid for the problem with wards. But it made me think having wards proc debuff or damage could be cool.
  18. Lecheka New Member

Defilers can spec for as damage proc on wards in their prestige tree but both these things you just suggested are uselsss when wards don't stay up long enough to proc anything

Just like the DR on HoT how'd you like it if the HoT had a finite heal mount which meant your HoT ended before it's 7.5s recast, it'd render the DR usless of course.
  19. Mktavish01 Member

What does a hot tick have to do with it? But hot ticks do get wasted all the time. Plus they are slow at healing people up , so you have to keep multiples stacked and ticking ... hence more possibilities for potential getting wasted.

But anyways Taka asked about debuffs ... so without getting into the mechanics I just mentioned wards and debuffs working together instead of how some people thought some debuffs should be put together in one cast.

Makes sense sorta ... wards are a shield , so why not have it do more than intercept damage? Other than a chance for the mob to resist the debuff , just like any debuff. I would imagine it should proc/cast anytime the ward was struck.
Possibly deal out the debuff on a slideing scale according to how hard the hit was.
  20. Lecheka New Member

HoT don't really get "wasted" they just may not always get used to their full potential. HoT are always up and running, wards are not. You can't proc anything off a ward if it is gone almost instantly and can't be recast.

Plus why all these suggestions to change wards to do something else. Why not just fix them by removing the critical bonus penalty?

This list has lots of things on it that are just obcene, all healers have stupid AA's and abilities that don't work the same now as they did pre ToV. This is not just a defiler/mystic thing.

Remove critical bonus penalty on wards, it wouldn't even make them that much larger. Seems the most obvious solution to me.
