Subtle Movements AA inaccurate damage

    AA shows that it will add 100% to damage but actually adds around 0.1%.

    It adds to the damage before all of your stats.

    Strip naked, drop all your buffs, then look at what the tooltip shows before the AA and after the AA. If it's still a 0.1% change, repost along with your character's stats.

    That is not reasonable. An AA that does not work unless you have no gear, AA's or buffs is an AA that does not work.

    Indeed. 0.1% is utterly pointless. And if Taled is right then the description is so misleading as to be, well, a lie.

    And I assume from the multiple posts on related issues that the issue is general; ie, every class has similarly worthless and/or misrepresented AA's.

    To be honest, it's not so much that the description is misleading as that the descriptions on a large number of AAs are outdated - If it isn't in the 'Class' or 'Subclass' tree, or one of the newest AAs from RoS (or the few RoS Ethereals), the odds are it hasn't been updated in quite some time. They've worked on them some, but a number of the descriptions aren't entirely accurate any more, and an even larger number of the effects are simply useless due to the change in how abilities work and how our stats are now - For instance, *most* AAs that give reuse on an ability don't do anything at all if you have 100% reuse speed already, with the exception of a handful that explicitly state they reduce the *base* reuse time.

    Outdated? If you have to strip naked(*) for the thing to have the stated effect then I don't think "outdated" is quite the right word...

    (*) good only for corpse runs...? Oh, wait....

    The description of that ability was implemented before many other stats were implemented. Effectively, this modifier is like having potency, so in effect it does not increase by a percentage, it increases the ability by the same amount that having an extra 100 potency does. This was an unfortunate oversight for a lot of early AA's, as Taled stated, the descriptions were written in such a way that it described the effect without considering that further stat increases would invalidate those descriptions, as they did not anticipate the way stats would be granted even in the near future, much less 9 years later.

    Is there a way we could get an audit on this? I would've expected a review of the descriptive text with the revamp we had not long ago.

    It's understandable that with the sheer volume of work that it got overlooked. Even a coded description generically applied to everything would be amazing.

    "This advancement modifies the X stat of Y by Z amount per rank. At final rank it additionally adds Q modifier." For example.

    The 'revamp' wasn't a full AA revamp, unfortunately - it only really hit the first two trees (tabs) on the AA window.
