AVG tells me that EverQuest2.exe is infected when I use the in-game browser. Twice now this has happened. I am not allowing it so it removes the exe and I have to repatch. I am wondering if the browser is a security hole. The in game browser usually opens to the eq2i website as I click the Drums/Profit style links on items/quests to look them up. AVG is putting this under the Identity Protection detection category.
doubt that the everquest2.exe is infected, more likely cause is your av is throwing a false positive on the application, if the file was universally infected every anti-virus would be showing something, Use trend micro and have not seen the issue
