This morning when I tried to log in via the patcher I was met with this error:

    Unable to download SocketError:Unreachable - No data (11004) - http://manifest.patch.station.sony....en/live/eq2-en.sha.soeSocketError:Unreachable - No data (11004) - http://manifest.patch.station.sony....en/live/eq2-en.sha.soeSocketError:Unreachable - No data (11004) - http://manifest.patch.station.sony....en/live/eq2-en.sha.soeSocketError:Unreachable - No data (11004) - http://manifest.patch.station.sony....en/live/eq2-en.sha.soeSocketError:Unreachable - No data (11004) - http://manifest.patch.station.sony....en/live/eq2-en.sha.soeSocketError:Unreachable - No data (11004) - http://manifest.patch.station.sony.com/patch/sha/manifest/eq2/eq2-en/live/eq2-en.sha.soe

I can get in just fine bypassing the patcher but I won't get updates that way. Nothing has changed on my computer since yesterday when I logged in fine so I'm not sure what to do next. Any help is appreciated.

The issue you are experiencing with the launcher can be caused by a few different issues, most commonly a Windows connection setting or a firewall/anti-virus conflict.

In order to possibly resolve this issue I would suggest that you reset your Internet options by following these instructions: Go to Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Click the Advanced Tab. On the Advanced Tab Afterward click Reset > Delete Personal Settings > and click Ok. Then go back on the Internet Options and on the advanced tab, scroll down to Security and un-check "Check Server Certificate Revocation" and "Do Not Save Encrypted Pages to Disk" then click on Ok.

If your issue persists and it does not appear to be related to your security software please feel free to open a support ticket with us and we will be happy to help.

That worked, thank you very much. =)

Oddly enough, when I logged in today this issue was back. I will redo the steps you posted earlier, but is there something I can do to keep it from happening daily?

FYI, it was the certificate thingy that checked itself again after it was unchecked yesterday.

This may be occurring due to a permissions issue with Windows. You may need to make these changes while using an Administrator account in order for the changes to stay in place.

I made the changes in an admin account. It was still happening. I have it unchecked and it's not checking itself again but the game will not run, it's throwing that same error message. I did a full scan on my computer, it was fine. I tried to run a scan on eq2, it won't let me because of the error. I tried to redownload launchpad, it won't let me because of the error. I have no idea what to do next. I can bypass the launcher and play fine. It's something between the launcher and my computer and it just started the day I posted this thread. Nothing on my computer changed.

I still can't get in. And, I can't send a ticket to you to open a case. I have the dxdiag stuff and I'll send it to you via message if you need it.

Mheryl, you can send us both your dxdiag so we can look into this for you

I started a "conversation" with both of you that includes the info. Please let me know what you find.
