This AA absolutely removes the FD portion of Mortal Embrace but adds nothing like the buff states it will.
Was going crazy the other night, not a big part of my game play but I do tend to use it once in awhile. Tried using that and couldn't figure out why I was not dropping and losing the mob. Thought this was a Mandala Effect. I don't have the new expansion and never read what the changes were with AA's. I went through all my spells looking for Feign Death. Then I read this. Good to know I wasn't going mad lol
