Seven Tomes and no Sense

    I turned in the 6 books and went to the next book I have killed the monkey a lot of times. The book is still there and no chest. Is the chest hidden?

    after approach the 7th tome and you kill the monkey king the chest should be there.

    Tryed again today, same thing. I killed the monkey 3 times ,book remained in place no chest. Intered a bug report yesterday. I did not see any thing from that

    Heyya Big G!

    I found the problem. You have to be within the monkey king's level range for the seventh tome to drop as his loot. I'll get this fixed, but until then I would suggest mentoring down to 110 for this fight. (Speak with a Timeless Chronomage in Qeynos or Freeport to do that.) That should allow for his loot to drop and give you the quest update you've worked for!
