Sentinel's Fate Beta Access Challenge #1: The Haiku

The Challenge: In the Sentinel's Fate beta pool but want to get in before others? Here's a chance for you to get into the Sentinel's Fate beta! Write a Haiku about Sentinel's Fate and/or the continent of Odus.
The basis of a haiku is 3 lines with 5, 7, 5 syllables. Here's an example:

Fog in the distance
A black ship full of pirates
Plunder on mateys!
Fog (1) in (1) the (1) distance (2) = 5
A (1) black (1) ship (1) full (1) of (1) pirates (2) = 7
Plunder (2) on (1) mateys (2) = 5
Count your syllables! Make sure it's just one haiku and not a story, poem or caption.

Entry Requirements: Before entering this challenge you MUST do the following:

• Review the Official Forum Challenge Rules.
• Complete the Sign Up for the EQII Sentinel's Fate Beta.
• Update your email address on the forums.
• You need to have an active account! And it must be posted with the account that needs the beta flag.

Notes:

• Submit your entry in response to this thread.
• Submit as many entries as you wish. We'll decide which we like the best.
• Please keep in mind that the submissions may be used for the website and other sources so they must be appropriate!

Duration: Submissions for this challenge will be accepted until Friday, December 11, 2009 at 9:00 am US Pacific PST (PST is -8 GMT: 10:00am MST, 11:00am CST, 12:00pm EST, 4:00pm GMT) this challenge will end and a winner will be announced and flagged the week of December 14th.
Reward: The reward for this challenge is solely beta access. First Place winners will get their account flagged for the Sentinel’s Fate beta.
*Substitute rewards will be NOT granted. If you are already in the beta, you are welcome to participate but your submission will only qualify for an honorable mention.
*This reward is NOT transferrable. You must use the account you wish to get into the beta with to submit the entry to this challenge.
Feedback: Feel free to offer your feedback on the submissions of others. We enjoy reading the comments on entries for these challenges just as much as the entries! Just remember to be constructive.
