I'm in the process of dusting off my illy, I havent played him since BoL. I'm curious as to peoples experiences with the current state of illy's since the AA changes and such. What's changed? How's the power feed abilities? DPS advice? Pitfalls? etc. Thanks
I haven't played mine a whole lot this expac due to main change, but from what I have seen from both the bit I have played and watching our Illys in raid, regen is still solid for sure. AA changes imo are kinda meh. AoI and IA seem good on paper for 80% flurry, but auto attack is garbage, so they're rendered useless again. TC is ok for 7% dc increase. The only major one I'd say from group/raid buff standpoint would be Channeled Focus in enchanter tree. 15% DC for the raid is pretty solid. I can't say much in the way of dps due to above statement of not much play time, but based on our raid, Illy's seem to be in a decent spot, mid pack mostly which is where they should be.
from what i have heard choosing your mimic target carefully is a big part of it the next gu may make auto attack viable again too
