Fixed Internally Refining rares for crafted items broken?

  1. doit Member

    I refined some rares and made some crafted armor but didnt see any change in stats or even change in name of the crafted item.
    So is it waste of time to craft using refined rares or is it broken for now?
    Or is this change intended and refining no longer useful?

    The crafted item was using refined rares for advance armorer book...

    I also had this problem. I refined all my rares then found out they did nothing for stats, and does not say refined in the description.

    Refined Materials should always boost crafted gear stats! Hope this gets fixed.

    Refining rares still does not give bonus stats to crafted gear.
    Shadowed rares cannot even be refined.

    Both refined rares not making better gear and shadowed rares not refining were both reported in beta.

    I hate to be that person, and I don't know in 20+ years of EQ that I have ever been that person - but this expac is a total shambles and most of it seems intentional. They broke more than they fixed with today's update as well.

    refining rares is still useless...
    name of rare changes but does not effect name or stats of the crafted item..
    please fix or remove refining
