Ash floated down to ground. Volcanic rock spewed forth, raining down around the area, minutes later. A young Sootfoot goblin walked along the sandy beach, watching magma wormlings as it walked along, collecting rocks. The Sootfoot were making a dramatic increase in their trade, and they needed more resources. The goblin knew by all means to stay away from the place simply known as "Najena's Hollow". Strange things had gone on there. Things began dissapearing, only reappearing days later. However they were...different. This was fine as it was just the creatures disappearing for a few days. Then the goblins started to disappear. It was much more eerie there now, so the Sootfoot closed the area off. The young Sootfoot pushed these memories to the back of his mind. His task was collecting rocks. That was what he was sent out to do. Thoughts rarely stay back for long, due to a goblin's curious nature. The young Sootfoot finally picked up one last rock and set off for home. Something made him stop, though. A reflection. Slowly, the Sootfoot turned around. Out of nowhere, it seemed, a large tower had been made in an impossible amount of time. Strange purple lights were flowing down into it from the sky. The young Sootfoot trembled and began to run back to his home. He had to tell the others this news.
    The Void had arrived.

Hello and welcome to Reaching Echoes, my new roleplay! Please bear with me here, as this is my first one in Everquest II. The introduction is what possibly happend before the Void invaded Lavastorm. It was not long after that adventurers began to find this curious sight. Reaching Echoes is not just about this, however, oh no. Reaching Echoes is, one expansion at a time, encompassing ALL the zones in Norrath. What will you choose? Will you be an adventurer looking to combat the Void threat? An inhabitant who just wants to get on with their life? Or, maybe, you have chosen to ally with this strange power. Whatever your choice, it might just echo back...
Note: This is an ADVENTURE roleplay. As in, mainly people adventure around, while the plot progresses.

    Rules
1.No godmodding. This means: Do not control other people's characters.
2.No flaming in-game or on the forums. This means: No spam allowed.
3.No metagaming. This means: Don't know things you shouldn't know.
4.No "overpowering". This means: Don't be as powerful as, say, Mithaniel Marr in true form.
5.Please use the bio format provided on this topic.
6.No autohitting. This means: Don't kill someone and be done with it.
7.Have fun. Most important rule of all!
Note: I had trouble with #6, considering most resolve combat by using the duel system. That doesn't really seem fair, though, does it? For all we know, the lower level could have a character of far better skill than the character of the higher level. This is why "roleplay combat" was invented, where you do actions instead of dueling. Here's an example.
    P1: -slices at with sword-
P2: -ducks the blade, then rolls away-
Just a short note about what I prefer.

    Races and Illusions
Due to the fact that quite a bit of illusions are floating around out there (which makes me happy), you may use a character other than the standard character races used in the game. It's reccomended, if you want a certain type of illusion, to create a class that has illusion fun spells. For example, I have a necromancer named Batork and use him for all my undead illusions. On the other hand, I also have a conjuror named Seatiln and I use him for my elemental illusions. With me now? Good!
A list of races usable are as follows:
-All playable character races in Everquest 2.
-Any kind of undead (including ghosts, skeletons, zombies, lichs, and vampires.)
    -Any kind of elemental.
    -Gnolls.
    -Goblins.
    -Any type of animal race.
    -The Void creatures.
    -Nightbloods and succubuses.
    -Orcs.
    -Gargoyles.
    -Minotaurs.
    -Evil Eyes.
    -Boarfiends.
    -Moppets.
-Golems (The clay and zombieish ones included.)
    -Efreeti.
    -Coldain.
-Lizardmen. (Not the Iksar or Sarnak! The Feerrott lizardmen!)
    -Basilisks.
    -Centaurs.
    -Dryads.
    -Treants.
    -Kholrats.
    -Shadowed Men.
    -Scarecrows.
    -Sirens.
    -Owlbears.
    -Goo.
    -Ooze.
    -Fungusmen.
-Fairies (Not the Fae! The ones like the Seamist fairies!)
    -Imps.
That's all I can think of for now that's in the Shattered Lands...
