Seeing as alot of people have no idea whats coming up, or what to save up for or look out for in the market place for skill quailty advancement, i thought id post this little advancement table i came up with ( bored killing mass ghosts for ghost lore and mastery quest ).
Since we are of the fighter branch we rely on Alchemists to make our skill quaility enhancement essence's. The Alchemist you seek out, must be of the same level of the spell you require to be made, so for example, you want Reckless Stance App IV, Adept III made for you, the Alchemist needs to be of a level 30 in Alchemy to perform the dutie for you.
To make a App IV doesnt require any rare component, mostly just store bought items, or items the Alcy himself can create.
All Adept III's require a rare item as a component for the primary peice to making a Adept III essence. Once the Alchemist use's his skills to make a dye, he then turns the dye into ink which he then use's to make you your spell.
Here is a list of the Rare's required and the names of the ink that will be used in the final combine to make your spells :

Level advancement table for rare's require'd for skills is :
1 - 9 require Copper clusters or Rough lapis laziul, Tier 1 ink is : Cochineal ink
10 - 19 require Silver clusters or Rough Coral, Tier 2 ink is : Suzuri Ink
20 - 29 require Palladium clusters or Rough Jasper, Tier 3 ink is : Indigo Ink
30 - 39 require Ruthenium Clusters or Rough Opal, Tier 4 ink is : Woad Ink
    • *Substitute rares dropped from named mobs in Tier 4 zones are :
    • Opal Geode, Dyhydrated Opal.
40 - 50 require Rhodium clusters or Rough Ruby, Tier 5 ink is : Alizarin Ink
    • *Substitute rares dropped from named mobs in Tier 5 zones are :
    • Clouded Ruby, Cracked Ruby, Fissured Ruby.
51 - 60 require Rough Pearl or Vanadium Cluster, Tier 6 Ink is : Cerulean Ink
    • *Substitute rares dropped from named mobs in Tier 6 zones are :
61 - 70 require Spongy Loam, Tier 7 Ink is : Gonne Ink

*Substitutes can be used just as if they were the real cluster or rough stone, except the substitutes are found from named mob drops through out the same tier zones as the rares you would normally farm from a node.

    Master II Skills :
These skills will be offered to you every 10 level's starting at level 14. Bare in mind you will only be able to chose one out of the 4 that is offered to you and there is NO going back once its done, so make sure to take your time, do some home work and chose wisely.
These Combat Abilities that are offered to you are ones you already have. If you already have a Master I or a Adept III version of the Combat Abilitiy, it might be wise to chose another Ability that will gain a more significant upgrade, unless of course you wish to upgrade the Master I which could be a ability you often use.
They are the Berserker list of Master II quaility skills :

    Berserker (Level 24)

    • Focus Rage
    • Enrage
    • Bloodlust
    • Raging Strike

    Statistics
Strength is a key statistic for fighters, as it directly impacts the amount of power they have available and how much damage they do with melee attacks, also effects the damage output of Comabt Abilitys.
Below is a list of what that stats increase for our class.

Strength – Strength determines the amount of weight a character can carry and modifies how much damage they do in melee combat also effects Combat Abilitys damage output. Determines the total amount of power a character can have.
Agility – The higher your character's Agility, the greater their chances to avoid physical attacks.
Stamina – Stamina modifies the amount of Health Points a character has. It also affects how much damage an unconscious character can withstand before dying.
Intelligence – Intelligence modifies how much damage your character inflicts with magic-based attacks.
Wisdom – The higher your character's wisdom the more total resist you will have.

    Have fun.

Very good post. Currently Alchemist are the only tradeskiller you need to make the skills for you, its the most complex set of combines the alchemist has to do, and they have to get pristine results all the way up. Finding the highest alchemst you can is youre safest bet, however they may charge for thier time.
At level 30 I have a 100% sucess rate with Tier 3 rares (thank god) and still get exp for doing it, the payoff for me is exp and the by-products from the combine, which i can get made into rare glass for my rare potions. Sadly the rare potions arnt worth making except for the exp bonus I get.

Sometimes if you check the broker the ink's themselves will be on sale :

Tier 1 Ink : Cochineal ink
Tier 2 Ink : Suzuri Ink
Tier 3 Ink : Indigo Ink

Not checked out the tier 4's & 5's inks yet.

Tier1 Zones : Qeynos side (Oakmyst Forest, Forest ruins, Peat bog)

Whoa thanks a lot!! I did not realize that Anger was the upgrade to Taunt, I just thought it was a longer range one that taunted the same amount and used 3 times as much power :p And that Shout has an upgrade (I must have missed it in my spellbook!)

"We are the two halves of the Flowing Circle, the light and the dark. If either grows too weak or too strong, the circle collapses on itself. Here, I will draw a Flowing Circle in the sand for you. Meditate upon the dual nature of our order and ourselves as you practice Kitten Swims Upstream. Perhaps, if you learn something from your meditations, Brother Tenshin will teach the kitten to become a tiger."

Good post thanks. I need to get me some rares soon I think.

    Great break down.

Just one thing I noticed is that Tides of War is not superseded by destructive rage, they are 2 different lines. At 50, we still use ToW.

    Just some small corrections:

    Anarchy actually comes at 40.4
Controlled Rage isn't really an upgrade to Reckless Stance. It "Decreases attack rate and increases defense," and is more along the lines of Stifled Rage (it lasts for three minutes, takes no concentration).

Updated :smileywink:, there was few that i wasnt 100% sure on, so please, if you see anything out of place, please leave a note and ill fix it asap.

Is Unflinching Will an upgrade to Reckless Stance? It seems like it might be from the description.
  19. ARCHIVED--Aonein- Guest

That im not sure off and havent been able to get a postive feedback on that, if anyone can please confirm that Unflinching Will is the Upgrade to Reckless Stance can post here, i would greatly appreciate it. It does most certainly seem like a upgrade, but i'd like to be sure.

    Nice list.

A couple corrections - Rupture isnt Stomp upgrade and Violent Promisse isnt Raging Strike upgrade.

All the 4 skills listed dont share the same recast timer.
