I'm actually kind of chuckling at this one, since the money amounts are pretty trivial in the grand scheme of things. But I couldn't help noticing that although the reward for this quest is a net 48,000 status, it costs 14 plat in fuel to get an 11p 21g 53s 75c reward. Or in other words, there a 48000 status reward for this quest, and a 2p 78g 46s 25c punishment for it. Oh well, I'm looking forward to the reward for the next quest in the series, as it is apparently the first substantial one.
In beta all the writs cost money to do, every single one had a loss of plat due to fuel costs that were not recouped with the writ turn in. They fixed those. I would /bug the results you mention above, perhaps those were missed when they fixed the writs.
