Problem with Hadden's earing quest in Nek Castle

    I am doing the Hadden's earing quest. I am in Nektropolis Castle. I need to open the secret passage. I have the scribbled note and should be able to turn the sconce ,which opens the passage. However, it doesn't turn. I did log out for a few minutes,which might be the reason for my problem. What do I do? I still have the note so the sconce should turn and open the passage. Anyone else have this problem?"

    I have finished the boar's head quest, the visions of hatred quest and the red marble quest.
