Observation: current power usage on live is off the scales.. the more you have the more you use.. for players with 1 million, 2 million plus power - each CA or ascension that does damage.. instead of using the power it says (example like 3k), uses 60-80k of power (some exceptions that always been that way like eth ***). End result is unless you are a power regen class or using essence of magic with Etherealist ascension, you run out of power very quickly. Test patch of 18 September.. very noticeable change, a lot worse for heroics and solo mobs. 3-5% power use every cast of damage CA's. Instead of managing your power.. its gone in no time with in combat regen so low.
So tested against heroics, no debuffs, no buff on named that changes power used, still 60-80k power used each damage CA.. until I hit 60k power (very low) and the the CA's used the right power. Worst example is using a CA that does damage and only uses health, (no power)... each cast still takes 80k power off your current power./why? Either patch related,. or I hit a new a power/pot level on a few alts that is inbuilt to increase your power usage
It would be helpful to know the class and level of the toon that was experiencing the problem. Since PoP, it seems like every darn mob power drains, so you need to make sure that it's the CA, not the mob. ACT parse screenshots showing the power drains from various combattants should also help.
