Please Address Adorning in PoP

Please address adorning.

Please, please throw us a bone and address adorning.

Please acknowledge adorning has either been fundamentally changed, broken, or just not finished yet.

Please tell us what is happening - because not all of us have top end white adorns ready to slap on new gear, and we would like to not chase our tails in PGs if the other, better ones are in game and available now.

WHITE ADORNS: Patch notes from last week said Planar Adornments drop rate was increased.... But still not discovered on any of the servers yet. Either it's broken, or it's been put behind something that is so obscure or difficult to get to, you are changing an aspect of the game with no warning. Why would a recipe book like this be rare? Literally every character can learn adorning - and you are making it something super rare? So one person who gets lucky wins the lottery and hose the rest?

ORANGE ADORNS: Named incorrectly on the merchant in valor; no trade and not heirloom requiring the Destiny in the Planes of Prophecy achievement to purchase (alt friendly does not mean requiring getting the offhand via 50k factions in order to purchase these orange adorns when you have unlocked them already) now, leftover lore-equip items still on broker for astronomical amounts. The lore-equip was GOOD, actually. It was fostering some teamwork with people, even. Trade you a firm growth for firm power, whatever. Keeps people in the zones to get currency to buy them, too. Naming still janked up on the merchant, causing gear to pop off when you zone around.

DISTILLATIONS/ETC: Still no breadth of being able to turn powders into fragments - basic recipe from the previous 11 tiers, why would this one be any different? Adepts drop rate is low - but it's not as big of an issue with working experts... But paying 10,000 per adept to have a CHANCE at ONE fragment is not practical - even with current inflations.

If adorning is not finished and more is coming around the same time as tradeskill, ok fine, but please say so.

I've /feedback'ed. I've /bug'ed. I've made comments, and I've asked questions, but I just do not understand the radio silence on this.

we do not have a dedicated tradeskill Dev much less have any Devs that understand tradeskilling now. Tradeskillers are the red headed step children of this game now.

While the loss of Domino may be the cause of some of this mess it isn't all of it. White adorns were put in beta and if they can be put in beta they can be put in live. The orange adorns state is just ridiculous at best.

As of patch, the misnamed Ascendants Grace adorns are now named correctly - Ascended Elementalist, Ascended Etherealist, etc. They are also not popping gear off on zone. Progress!

Still required the 3 50k factions achievement to purchase for alt, and still no trade.

I thought this expansion was the expansion for Alts.

Adornment books and distillations really need to be put in. Orange adorns that replace the purples should be recipes with runes available via faction/faction coins or something
Advanced adornments should be unlocked via a token or something so can choose which you want on merchant or something similar. having luck determine which you get sucks.

There should also be lesser and greater white adorns, not just the superiors.

I think it is time that we should be able to build up the 100's of lesser level adorning components into something useful, much like the way Alchemists can build up lower to higher level dusts. (And think of the 40+ bag slots I can clear out...)

As a FYI, Caith discovered yesterday that the White Adornments book had been removed from loot tables accidently pre-expac, so while they did infact increase the drop %, it was still not a loot table attached to any mobs. I believe he fixed that for the next patch.

lol sigh... they should just auto give everyone of us one. and a stack of 200 fragments as well.

If the book is a plentiful drop and not limited uses, yeah sure, ok. Not a fan of it this way, but I will deal like everyone else.

If it's a rare drop, or limited uses......it would be like, "Okay Woodworkers, this expac, your basic recipes are going to be DROPS AND RARE! Everyone else, buy from the merchant!"

Let us pray that its not a repeat of the AoM adorning book fiasco.

I'm glad they, um, discovered it had been removed from the loot table somehow. But seriously, how did it take 3 weeks WITH players reporting that it wasn't dropping (and hadn't been discovered) within a few days of expansion launch?
