Fixed Internally Pet idle check is NOT fixed

    Original thread was moved to Resolved section and the September 13th update note says it's fixed, but it's still happening.

    I was in Sinking Sands crafting items for Secrets of the Sands quests, I got spammed by the pet back off messages. I was moving around, crafting items, and talking to NPCs and I was never idle. It seems even worse than before, sometimes getting two messages in ONE second.

    Seems to have either be partially fixed or it changed as I wasn't getting it in a spot I use to myself, honestly I haven't seen it at all.

    Are you 125 and mentored/not mentored at all? Just in case its related? I was originally only seeing the previous bug version of this while mentored in some zones.

    Fixed? By who's standard? Can confirm was still happening last night. Odd seeing "you have killed" followed 10 seconds later by "your pet will back off due to inactivity"

    So, apparently, it's a matter of just moving/running, rather than doing anything else? Or is it still happening in flight... (/double_checking_Plugh's_error_report)

    Hell; yeah, it's happening in the middle of fights... X-P

    Under normal circumstances just jumping is enough. I used to leave myself in a house while I went to make/eat dinner and would just smack the spacebar a couple of taps every time I passed the keyboard. That was sufficient to reset the timer. But the problem here is that normal activity appears to be being ignored by the check so none of it is working properly. Although to be fair I don't remember my pet actually vanishing while I was crafting, I just got the threatening messages.

    Yup, and by normal I can confirm i got backoff message intermingled with kill and loot messages. I'm not sure how much more active I can be lol. I've also now started getting the <radio edit> messages spamming several times per minute. Is there a way to report the server for spamming me? :p

    Confuses the heck out of me, because if you read the message, I will get the message while my Tinydancer Pet is actually fighting.. and i throw some heals and buffs her way. "inactivity my a$$". Both me and doggie are doing stuff. LOL.

    Still broken. Running my conjuror around Plane of Magic and getting this _constantly_. Not from lack of movement. Fly around, get the message. Land and kill something, get the message _again_ moments later. Pet went inactive in the middle of one fight. What the ever-loving-heck?

    Starting to wonder why I'm bothering to use a pet. It goes inactive while I'm moving between targets, and stopping to give new orders isn't always possible.

    ever sense new expansion keep getting spam your inactivity will cause your pet to back off then times you have to keep resetting pet to assist ,any plans to fix this it gets so annoying some days are worst then others even happens in lvl 80 zones fly land next thing , your inactivity will cause your pet to back off ?
