Our Lunar Journey, to the Moon and Return (Excursion 2021)

Cool!!! Food and shopping!! Whoot!!!!

yea even as short as our trip was , I am tired of that tube food . ( no crumbs allowed )

I had the shrimp basket; fries and shrimp. With some coleslaw and beans.

"Okay folks, rolligon ride around the nearby terrain coming up. Looking at craters, rocks, Earth, and the satellites. Orbiting the Earth. And some space suits if anyone wants to walk on the surface of the Moon."

( Rolligon: a large bus-like vehicle with large tires to cushion the bumps, mostly, with windows to see the sights. Ultraviolet and gamma ray protection.)

BUT of course I want to walk on the moon!

"We'll take a ride on the blue bus, the blue bus with the shiny lights."

"The rolligon blue bus is now loading ! All aboard !"

The door closes and the rolligon heads out onto the surface. The airlock closes behind them.

Off to one side can be seen years earlier models of ships and surveyors that landed long ago, and far away.

Let us take a little trip over yonder. We really aren't that far away.

'Off to the left folks you see the bits the Apollo 11 LEM left after it went back up to rondivous with the Command Module in orbit for the return to Earth."

Some early theories were that there were deep holes of lunar dust. And that any spacecraft that landed might sink into them and never be able to get out."

"Our next stop is... oh,great. Robbie what is that over there ?"

"Remote analysis says it is a container of Jupiter rocks. Not the martian popcorn it says on the sign..."

As we continue our journey, we see a small meteor hit the lunar surface.

"Don't worry folks, we have a shield up. That can't hurt us."

"As travel along, on the lunar surface,
we see the Earth away over yonder."

A go around a rather deep crater,
and see the outpost we left earlier.

A short rest stop, and we will get back on the stage coach.

"Ooh ! Look ! It is mealtime at the station !"

Hmm. I'll have the steak and fried shrimp. Tater tots ( cylinder shaped potatoes ), potato salad with a bit of dill pickles added. Some pecan pie, unsweet tea, and a glass of water. And plenty of napkins.
