Sword/board or 2her makes zero difference, just use whatever gives you the better stats. As far as stance, you can't use death prevents or stoneskins in offensive; sonic you're having trouble staying alive, might just stay in D stance. If no issues, run O stance. Run O stance 100% after getting the epic 2.0 ability.
