New Login Screen - Abomination or a blessing

I really wish there was the option to have all your toons on one screen at selection. It would be nice to be able to take a "family photo" ! 8)

It's the tinting of the skin tones, not new players. Sometimes even older players make new characters.
If the character load screen is corrected so we see our characters' skin tones like they really are, that would be fine for me.

Why would you want your good characters associated with a xenophobic, vampire-infiltrated city?

I like it but it is pretty bright! I am unable to find out if we change our name? I do not like I didn't capitalize mine!

That is another problem. The old one had a neutral light setting. In this one my avatars have a blue/greenish tone to their skins which doesn't represent them well. While it does represent the Ethernere, it doesn't represent how you look in the other 98% of the zones.

I think the new character select screen is more beautiful than the blah brown we used to have. Thanks for changing things up for us!

Tinting looks fine to me. Brightness looks fine to me. I do not see why people are complaining about the new screen. It is beautiful and a nice change of scenery and well overdue. Again, well done devs.

It totally reminds me of EQ1 which is great as that was the best MMO experience I have ever had.

You miss the point. When creating characters, it is a GOOD thing to actually see the accurate skin tone. Rught now, we cannot do so, as everything is tinted a bluish tint and is washed out.

I like it.. it makes a nice change.

My characters are not tinted any differently on the new character select screen than they were before. Matter of fact, I don't believe that the lighting on the character itself comes from the environment that they are standing in.

Hmm, I wish I had your settings then, because I have severe aqua-bluish tinting on my character screen.

Honestly, could be your monitor. Color bleed can happen on certain older/cheaper LCD's, where because there is such a prominent amount of color, it influences the tones of other colors surrounding it. I have a pretty good set of monitors though, so I don't see it.

Also running on near max settings.

Apart from the background, mine looks no different whatsoever. 1 dell monitor and 1 LG

I really like the new screen. The colors are very pretty And it reminds me of Aion lol thought I logged in to the wrong game at first. And Aion's log in is beautiful too. So can't complain as I like it a lot

Nope, my monitor is fine, a very new one. All other colors are fine, it is just the character screen. This is not color bleed, this is tinting on the character load screen.

Looks like a purple light to me.. but everything in this game seems to be going purple in one shade or another.

Nevermind, I hadn't looked at it since Tuesday, the lighting looks neutral. All the armor's still purple..

I like the new screen. but the lighting on the chars is bad. too bright. I imagine it will be hard when creating new chars...

I don't notice any tinting on my characters, and the lighting is not overly bright at all. I am happy with this new screen tho its just a touch cheerier than my horde of evil halflings usually goes for
