We couldn't have gotten red adornment recipes instead? More specifically the championship, glory, witness, juxtaposition ones, or ascension ones?? Ya'll chose infusers??? Seriously? More infusers are NOT needed. This is extremely disappointing, and I can't decide if I'm angry or sad.
The transmutation stones will come in handy, speaking as one who has been ignoring SLR callouts because I blew all my plat on manas. Yeah this is why it's a mistake to let the research assistants fall by the wayside. I know they're a pain to maintain, but the traditional way for casuals to get fancy adorns was to research them.
Funny, after people have been throwing essences and energies out for months, they add recipes. I personaly deleted around 300 of them. Instead of removing the old garbage from the loot table and adding recipes that actually use the curent content materials, they punish us for thier own mistakes again. Good work.......another hole in a sinking ship. Even the captain has left it already.
Well aren't these update notes just a slap in the face.... if only I could get that damn infuser recipe to freakin' drop.... can't believe this is the big "fix" for essence of chaos, lol... absolutely no creativity left at DB
Just to note that they use "FRAGMENTS" of planar energy and not the regular harvested planar energy (spent a couple minutes wondering why recipes said I had 65 on me while I only had 3 essence of chaos and 2 planar energy on me - and 60 essences of chaos in my harvest depot ^^). I'm thrilled, I'll finally be able to have a shot at empyral manas and I will be able to gear up a lot.
Just as an FYI on infuser testing. Most of us on Test cannot test it. I've only heard of one of those scrolls dropping on the server (Randiom got it off an overland named, he said), so he's the only one that can test the crafting, if he's around this weekend.
I can confirm the recipe works. Empyral physical infuser appears to take the plat cost away when put into the Deity infusing window, but takes plat as well as the infuser away. The infuser works properly when right clicked and used.
Components are as follow: Infusers: 3 components to make (3 essence of chaos or 3 fragments of planar energy), are heirloom and they give 25% chances to upgrade one of the stats given by the deity layer (crit bonus, ability mod, sta or pot). The empyral transmutation stone is heirloom too. Takes only one component to make. Can be muted for infusion/mana.
run the solos and heroics, and your bags will be so filled with transmutation stones that these recipes are useless. already I have hundreds of transmutation mats that I cannot use....BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE ADORNMENT RECIPES I WANT TO USE THEM ON. This is yet another thing that will be totally ignored by me because it's virtually useless. It feels like they had a chance to make something really, really cool and useful with them....and just didn't.
These crafted transmutation stones are for infusions/mana, not the dungeon ones for fragments. Those of us on Test who have been running overseer stuff regularly along with our adventuring have some of the recipes, we just didn't have the mana/infusions, so this will help ... some.
.... I thought that would be the case. So really at this stage in the expansion, they're fairly useless to all but new players, and Isle of Refuge I guess.
Aaaand the MC gear (legendary) should already be transmutable for powders and infusions, and MC Fabled gear should already be transmutable for infusions and manas... and lvl 111-120 adepts should already be transmutable for fragments and powders... That transmutation stones are only useful because they intentionally 'changed' how transmuting of MC gear works and they intentionally made MC fabled gear no value, so it can't be transmuted (or salvaged or even vendor trashed).
The thing breaks the infuser paradigm. Crafted infusers should go to the Physical Layer. Since this is a super special infuser, maybe it should go to the Bonus Layer instead. But the Deity Layer is Just Wrong.
This expac, seemingly, is all about breaking every paradigm that is remotely related to tradeskilling...
