I had a few diffrent tier masters of the necoromancer hearts on my broker and now after todays update it transformed them into Chains of Torment Masters. Why would they be turned into our root spell instead of Dark Heart Master I? Has anyone else had this happen?
The higher versions of Dark Heart (anything higher than the first one at level whatever-teen) were removed from the game with GU52. Necros and Conjys just continue to use the one they got in their teens for their entire career. Now, instead of having Masters for abilities that don't exist any longer, they gave you Masters for a root. It may not be the best swap you could pick for yourself, but it's better than having upgrades that no longer exist. Oh ... I re-read. You knew about the Dark Heart change. My guess is that you're still better off because Dark Heart can be mastered from an 'Expert' version in a day via the research assistant and silver clusters fall like rain. The Root's gotta be more valuable, if it kept its same level.
