So heres some of my ideas for necro aa changes next expansion pack
i would like to see some more focus on our pets i mean we are a "pet class"
and yet balance it with the caster somehow.
*Spend 2 AA to add a rank two to Accelerated decay
*Add rank three to Elemental toxcity.
*Add a second rank to life burn( would go form 4 to maybe 6 or 8 disease damage.
*Add a second rank to disease mastery in end line of shadows line.
or add a second rank for 5 AA to 10% base damage to pet in shadows line.
*add a crit chance and bonus AA for the pet . * i know my pets crit chance and bounus is kidna low. and im covered in power flux 3-5 gear.
*Give your pet 20% more crit chance and bonus for your pet.
*A life burn for the pet. your pet does 4 diease damage for each life point of pet lasts 15 seconds.
the downside would be it would be a way longer recast timre for your pet. also cant be cast with LB immunity on the mob, obviously.
*A raid wide lich , that gives a group power regen at the cost of health to the group , requires 2 concetration slots to maintain.
    some misc AA ideas.
*Add a life tap damage increse to vampire bats.
*Assuming the aoe issues with dumbfires gets fixed.
*Add a extra minion or two or three in blighted horde.

Here is a list of possible AA or changes to necromancer spells.
DOT Stances: One stance allows the necromancer to decrease the duration of their DOTs for an overall decrease in the total damage done by the spell, while the other allows an increase in the duration of the spell (same number of ticks) with an overall increase in damage done by the spell. One stance will provide more efficiency in short fights where the dots do not provide their full potential, where the other will provide more efficiency in longer fights.
Siphoning of Souls: Increase amount of spells you can accumulate, or allow the spells to be used only while the spell is active. Also, these spells should be affected by Splurt and Accelerated Decay.
Possess Minion: Give player more/full access to pet’s spells so you have more control on what the pet does.
Vampirism: Change it to function similar to the wizard’s Furnace of Ro. This way it doesn’t die instantly by AOE, but as a drawback it does not follow you around.
Bloody Ritual: Allow it to be used to replenish an ally’s power.
    Tank Pet: Intercept ability.
Scout Pet: Needs a much higher DPS output on a single enemy. The mage pet can out-DPS it without having to die from AOE. Give it an assassinate ability.
Mage Pet: Blue AOE like Shockwave that you can order it to use.
Control Undead: Allow it to be used to reanimate the dead for a short duration.
Vampire Bats: Add a siphon life over time component.
Pandemic: Allow it to spread to surrounding enemies similar to a Shadowknight’s Pestilence.
Lifetap: Give it a chance to increase your maximum health by the amount siphoned for a short duration (if you go over your current max health with the heal).
Mortality Mark: Add a noxious debuff component and/or allows multiple of the same DOT abilities to be active simultaneously. In most cases this will be Bloodcoil/Vampire bats as the other DOTs have shorter durations than their reuse speed.
Fear: Add a chance to cause the target to attack nearby enemies.
Lich: Add a chance to proc a spell that causes the target to drain the same amount (or a portion) of health that you do for a limited time; Lich, Accelerated Decay, Blood Pact, Lifeburn, etc.
Dimensional Storage: Allow this to store the buffs that were active at the time it was cast.
Dooming Darkness: Upgrade this to a higher level.
Bloodcloud: Add a damage over time component. “Cloud” makes it sound like it will linger for a while.
Revivication: Add a temporary lich effect to the target.
Unholy Covenant: Add a chance to proc lich to the group (disease damage + health and power siphon).
Rending: Add an ability casting speed component for the mage pet.
Awaken Grave: Temporary debuff on the target that keeps track of the damage done to it. Once the target is slain, it is revived temporarily with the amount of health equal to the damage done to it while the spell was active. This pet will last until the spell expires or until it is killed (not affected by tainted heals).
Blighted Horde: If these are killed before it expires they will spread disease damage over time to surrounding enemies.
Grasping Bones: Allows a chance for strikethrough for the duration.
    Ooze Crawler: Temporary pet.
Undead Horde: Either allow the kill count to accumulate instead of requiring nearby corpses, or those nearby corpses are the ones that are reanimated to fight (epic and heroic mobs are converted to solo).
Implode: Use your critical chance, etc. for the damage.

I don't know how many people are still around that played at launch but I would love to see Bloodcloud get fixed. At launch the description of bloodcloud was that it was supposed to be a non-encounter locked Area Effect Lifetap Dot that would Hit everything in the general area and Dot three Ticks of damage to the mob and lifetap back to your group. It was supposed to be a DoT and a group Lifetap, not just a PBAE and lifetap to the caster only...

Bloodcloud changed as part of the revamp of classes.
Oh, and if used right does way more damage then the old version had potential to do. Make it like a SKs AE lifetap and have it return all damage done to ALL mobs as health, not just one hit of it
