Mid-Screen Pop-up Missing

All of a sudden, about two days ago, Grouse lost the mid-screen message announcement pop-up window. It simply never appears anywhere. I suspect it managed to relocate itself again, but this time completely off screen.

Has anyone ever found a way to put it back to the default location?

If all else fails, you could open your uisettings file (servername_charactername_eq2_uisettings.xml), and remove the line that reads:

<Window Name="OnscreenMessage" alignment.. etc... />

to reset it's location back to default. Of course, also doublecheck through the in-game options to ensure you haven't accidentally turned the popups off.

Same has happened to me, at the time of GU 114.

Have done as suggested and problem is fixed.
