Melee + Ranged = Sweet Spot (Beginning Predator's Guide)

I am assuming those who already has ranger already found the sweet spots, so no need to read this.

What I am about to say concerns new bow users; frankly I wasn't quite used to the idea of not being able to fire my bow at point-blank (having always been able to do that in every other game), and at first it's a bit frustrating. But the inconvenience is less severe than one would have imagined, anyway.

Your melee attack's effective range is about 1.5-2 meters, beyond which you cannot hit the enemy - HOWEVER, you are still able to use your melee combat abilities at this range (somewhere around the 2 meter borderline). This is the sweet spot at which you may engage ranged attack and use ranged combat abilities while STILL being able to use the ranged combat abilities; the stacked damage should be quite nice.

Thanks Jowana. I see too many Predators missing this.

As you level as a Ranger, this sweet spot grows.

    Could you explain this further?

    Thanks.
