hi there i recently got Melancholy Melody and it says that the spell is suppost to play a mournful melody, but it dosnt play anything at all. All it does is show some black puffy stuff on my character?
That's what it does, enjoy! It also gives an animation to the person you put it on. At least it used to.
To be fair, the troub's song is also broken. It used to make the player dance with a bunch of sparkly stuff. Now, it's just the sparkly stuff like melancholy melody's just a puff of black like a half-second final fantasy darkness spell. It was fun making "srs business" necros watch their pets dance back in the day. I suspect maintaining animations for a dance emote on all pets was just too much for the devs, or at least I could see that getting booted in a meeting when looking at priorities. Srs business won. Enjoy your elf disguise.
