    Don't bother with mastercrafted gear.
It's quality is worse than solo quested gear.
MC weapons cannot be turned into weapon essences.
They salvage and transmute into 'uncommon lunar material', which is only used for making shadowed gear. Which is a side-grade to solo quested gear.

Essentially, if it's not a spell/combat art upgrade or a consumable, it's not worth crafting this expac :(

This couldn't even be tested in beta, because all crafted gear was tagged No Value, so couldn't be salvaged or transmuted. And many recipes were missing on beta and/or changed between live and beta.

Hell, it doesn't even look that good either.

BOTH salvaging MC gear AND transmuting it return Uncommon Lunar Material? Just asking for my own clarity.

And if you transmute a lv 113 Adept spell.. you get old PoP materials

CD? Last time I checked it was PoP. But, yeah, that's wrong too. Hopefully that, at least, will get fixed. Unfortunately I think the useless mats from crushing MC gear is a 'feature'.
