Why do so many Renewal of Ro weapons for mages have slashing damage when mages do not have the slashing skill. Some examples of this are:- Obsidian Blade Thorned Overgrown Hammer Elddar Blade of Mercy Some of the quest reward weapons for Mages are slashing damage even though they appear to be daggers.
That's not an explanation for sloppy cut-and-paste itemization. Mages can't use slashing weapons. We shouldn't even be able to equip them on a mage. It's like mage gear with Block on it, which we also can't use.
Arguably a "hammer" among other weapons shouldn't be ever doing slashing, or piercing for that matter. That shoudl be crushing. Daggers normally are piercing as well. It seems like just a simple case of not checking the right box/field.
There was an error with a number of weapons created for Renewal of Ro that caused them to default to slashing damage type. This is now fixed internally and changes should be seen in the next available hotfix or patch
