Hello all. I took a shot at decorating Kromzek Keep. Alot and I mean A L O T of hours have been put into it, but it has been much fun (also some frustration, but thats a part of it I guess lol) I include some screenshots with this message, please be kind to me since this is my very first serious attempt to decorate. The Keep itself is located on the Antonia Bayle server, so whoever is on that server, would be highly appreciated if you would take a visit there and if you like it .....maybe give it a like or two Thanks in advance !!! https://i.gyazo.com/8dfcc2300b1d908b070ed9df5788fe51. https://i.gyazo.com/3485ffe84f7f588c35728dcafc4535d6.jpg https://i.gyazo.com/905c54df59097a862c2d7483a9bc3a23.jpg https://i.gyazo.com/4ad2a03073b1268ad3583bc9a4a60345.jpg https://i.gyazo.com/0b030f0f6d82bd6550c6beb462f0498c.jpg https://i.gyazo.com/ed3c327798c2aac367f6385d1120f832.jpg https://i.gyazo.com/57d099bb23947f193c26420c0641dacb.jpg
Apparantly the images arent showing, I took the pics with Gyazo and inserted the URL's from there, shouldnt that work normally ? Update: right-click and "show in new tab" is working, let me know if thats working for you guys, thank you
Sadly, that's not working for me. Good news is, you're not alone, and you're definitely not the first one to have difficulties with that! There are many, many, many posts along those lines in these forums, but just a quickie: 1. Find yourself a good third-party image hosting site. I like DeviantArt. Be aware that some actually charge extra for posting YOUR OWN IMAGES (let alone anyone else's) anywhere but their site, so caveat emptor. 2. Publish your screenshot to your site, however it's done. I always like to include a blurb on mine that "This is a screenshot from the game Everquest 2, property of Daybreak Games. All rights reserved." etc. so the lawyers don't get their knickers in a twist. 3. What happens after that, well, this is what I do: a. Right-click on the published image. b. From the resulting drop-down list, select View Image. c. Another, separate page will come up, just containing a black screen, the image, and the URL of the image itself. Highlight and copy the URL. 4. Come back here, to your post. Find the place in the post you want to insert your image, like in a Word doc image insertion. 5. Click on the li'l image insert button/icon that looks like a tree in a landscape. 6. Paste the copied URL into the blank line/box; click the Insert button (for other image posting newbs "listening in," it's actually as easy as a Word doc image insertion, once you get the URL ). 7. Voila! Good luck! Uwk
Thank you very much for the reply , Uwk. For now I have put the direct link to the images ,that seem to work. If not , let me know
That worked (and you're welcome!)! But best of all would be to visit Rangar's awesome place in person! Uwk
Hehe Anyway, I want to thank everyone who has been visiting my Keep and gave it a like, its much apreciated !!! Its very satisfying to see that other people apreciate my style of decorating, specially since its my very first attempt to fully decorate a home. Im currently working on Mistmoore Crags Estate, so expect me to post another fully decorated home from me in a few weeks from now In the mean time again many many thanks to everyone who liked my Kromzek Keep Kind regards, Zaoc
Heh! Dude, if you can fully decorate a Mistmoore in "a few weeks," we'll not only be welcoming you into the fold as a new decorator (heh heh heh...guess the "We have cookies." campaign worked, my fellow conspirators ;->) as we have, we'll be even more impressed and congratulatory! Uwk
I tought I would post an update about this; change of plans.... Soon I will publish The Baubleshire 2.0 by Zaoc. A week or 2 later it will be Mistmoore 2.0 by Zaoc. Anyway, yes, Im still alive and decorating Kind regards, Zaoc lvl 120 Warlock / Carpenter
