NFTC is no longer recruiting until further notice.
Guild Name: Norrathian Free Trade Company
Alignment: Neutral/All, the guild focuses on the agenda of free and fair trade so any alignment could seek to obtain that for their own purposes.
Level of RP: Medium - Heavy RP Guild, very focused on IC purpose, focus and character development.
Headquarters/Guild Hall: Guild Hall in New Halas
Site: nftc.guildlaunch.com Description: We are not tradeskill only! That seems to be a common misconception, but the guild is designed to utilize the skills of any character who fits within it. We aim to be a medium to heavy RP guild with a heavy focus on the agenda of free trade with some black market undertones. We strive to provide characters with distinct in guild roles, bombard them with RP, encourage our members to RP with others of their community and find new ways to work together all while sticking to a heavy focus. We heavily focus on events and character development and have several events per month from large server-wide RP events to guild-only RP time. We're also very GUILD oriented. Our guild is not a social club, fan club or cult. Our members' opinions matter, we seek their input and seek to work together on things, even like decorating the guild hall. We prefer imperfection while working together over a self-indulgent narcissistic outlook! Oh, and we're also fairly active on our guild forums!
How to Join: Contact Rajani, Vintiari, Dazbhog, Sindayen or Lethreate in game. We have an IC interview we do which helps us determine what traits and skills your character offers the Company, which in turn basically helps us to figure out how to fit your character into guild storylines.

    Description:
    A mysterious letter. . .
    A mysterious invitation. . .
    A mysterious front. . .
    A mysterious cause. . .
    A choice to make. . .
And a cause to fight for. . .
    . . .beyond good and evil. . .

I have been the hunted all of my life, it seems. The individual that others seek to kill for personal gain or zealous ambition. I have seen what this world does to those who don’t fit a particular mold: those who are without a home, seeking to be free from the tyranny of their given dictator. I have been captured and tortured for no better reason than being, to them, a dirty traitor for helping free the Iksar from Lucan, and a filthy animal for what I have been afflicted with. This wasn’t deserved, and nobody else deserves it either.
Isn’t it interesting that the world seems to compensate for shortcomings by purging everything they deem as being weak or unfit? Isn’t it odd that we are all forced in many ways to suffer under the leadership of those who simply happened to be in the right place at the right time?
Venril Sathir; my people, the Iksar, enslaved to a lich, and hoping for better. The High Elves and their loss of Felwithe, the same, as it is for all those who have lost homes and now reside in the cramped quarters unhappily within their own, current residencies. I have helped my people before once, and now, I will do it again, but not alone. They are not the only ones now deserving of this, though they are indeed deserving, just like everyone else.
But beyond these struggling races, there are those who struggle with themselves; cursed to attempt to live a life of normality under extraordinary circumstances. I, myself, a Lycanthrope, as I have been for many, many years. I know the pain: physical, emotional, as loved ones turn you away, and your body transforms into a monster against your will. Is it not the same for our Vampiric brethren as well? The insatiable bloodlust? The terrible feeling of knowing that you can never see the sun again?
The both of these horrible curses, inflicted upon those of us who want nothing more than normal lives again; as well as those who are unhappy with the current society’s mold. My brothers, the Iksar, my kindred, the Lycans, our friends, those who share their plight; denied that by others who believe they have a say in the way that others live.
To that, I say, no more.
We are those that the world no longer wants. We are those that, despite even possibly holding valuable positions within our societies, might be starving for comrades that we can share our beliefs, and experiences with.
    Before, we were separated…
Now, I invite us to be one.
    Who will join me?
[[ Aphelion is a League of sorts that operates in shadow away from the eyes of others, yet not in the concept of darkness or evil as one might think from the choice of words. More enigmatic than wicked, Aphelion’s goals lean more toward the concept of neutrality and the betterment of both the whole, and the individual within its membership.
The guild is a group of individuals who, even while possibly having functional lives within society, don’t feel that the goals of society fit what their vision of what Norrath should be like. In that, it is a sanctuary to both outcasts and politicians alike, the catch being they both have the desire to help turn the tides against the tyranny and zeal that often threatens the ideals of the guild.
This doesn’t mean that a character that is part of the Aphelion is a vagrant or an outcast. Many who are within these protected walls have active roles in their societies as healers, warriors, diplomats and artisans; though they may feel the need to be away from responsibility, or feel out of place even within their race’s cities.
While extremely complex in what it hopes to accomplish, this is due to the nature of the guild itself being open to many different kinds of character concepts. The motivations your character has and their reason to join our "cause" is ultimately up to you. We have provided several examples of what will work, and all we ask is that in the end, your cause fit this overall “mold”.
In a nutshell, you may think of Aphelion as a cross between concepts within: The League of Extraordinary Gentleman, theX-Men, and the Sci-Fi Show Sanctuary. We oppose threats to the greater good of Norrath, but also to the greater good of those who might be housed within.
We are not Norrath’s Knights in Shining Armor or the individuals that fervently swear their allegences to one of Norrath’s many cities (beyond face value at least), as there are plenty of other guilds that embody these ideals. We operate quietly, behind a front that hides our true intentions, and when we do strike, we do so secretly, and leave no trace of our actions behind.
Aphelion itself is fronted by the concept of a “School” and mysterious “headmaster”, teaching the less fortunate of the world lessons in self defense, martial arts, history, reading, writing, etcetera. The Headmaster’s name is not known, though whispers of the reputation of the school itself are very positive; carrying very good regards toward the caliber of education.
Beyond all of the in-character complexities and workings of the guild itself, however, we understand that there is one thing far more important than the characters that we play: the player itself. Aphelion is a guild that hopes to not only build long lasting stories and prospective role-play friendships in game, but out of character friendships as well. While role-play and experiences in-character are extremely important to us, we also like experiencing the game with each other and provide an environment that is conducive toward getting to know the player in some ways just as well as the character.
We want to build a community in the guild itself that is friendly, comes to know each other, and comes to befriend each other as companions within this world of EverQuest II. Role-play relationships may be fleeting, character squabbles may happen, but in the end, we all can remain close compatriots as players.
    Our guild is divided into three different divisions; hoping to offer characters of all backgrounds and professions a creative springboard to participate in our theme. These three divisions are;

    Guild Name: The Fallen Facade
    Alignment: Neutral
    Level of RP: Medium/Heavy
    Headquarters/Guild Hall: Gorowyn
    Site: www.TheFallenFacade.com
    Description: See Below
How to Join: Message a recruiter! Arecai, Neosho, Mahrish, or whoever is under (U)

The Fallen Façade is a medium to heavy RP focused guild. We are primarily oriented toward individual character development and member created plotlines and expect active and vibrant rping from all our members. Thematically we are a loose alliance of refugees, soul-seekers, and social pariahs that are trying to find our place and our way in the world. If you are seeking a guild that fosters creativity and detailed character personalities and growth, give us a call!

We are based in Gorowyn though no aligned with any particular city or alignment. Our members range from the very holy to the very unholy and everything in between! As a result we use mature language and explore adult themes so we require our members to be mature in terms of both their IC and OOC behavior. All members are required to be 18+ years IRL to join. We do also ask that characters be at least level 20 to ensure that you are happy with the character and plan to keep them. Nothing is more frustrating or disappointing than getting involved with a character only to have them deleted under you! Exceptions can be made but that is done on a one-on-one basis.

Our Guild Hall is well equipped with amenities to meet a variety of IC and OOC needs, especially for those interested in crafting. There are no required dues for the guild those donations are gladly accepted. Grouping is encouraged between members both IC and OOC but, again, not required.

One final note: While we are happy to provide a supportive and caring IC and OOC community for you we cannot be your emotional support group, therapy session, marriage councilor, or psychologist. We will be happy to assist you in a reasonable manner but we must insist that some issues not spill over into the game world.
