As taken from the Wikipedia: Campe is generally depicted as having the head and upper body of a beautiful woman, the lower body of a dragon, a massive scorpion's tail full of venom, snakes around her ankles, and 50 grisly heads of various creatures (wolves, snakes, bears, lions...) bubbling around her waist. Her fingernails were "curved like a crooktalon sickle",[5] and she possessed black wings on her back. More rare depictions describe her as holding scimitars, having snake hair, holding a scythe etc I can totally see a cyclops riding on this monster, which was supposed to guard the cyclops, hehe. Personally though, I'd love it if you guys would simply give all those 'flying' type ground mounts the ability to be used as the 'appearance' for flying mounts. This includes the many different cloud mounts, the disc mounts from Sundered Frontier/Stonebrunt, the newest Tinkerfest jump packs, etc. Not being able to use these as appearances for flying mounts makes these mounts practically useless. :/
I noticed Ttobey skipped right over it and jumped right down to the purple people eater, hehe. I think the mental image of even considering the Campe may be too much for him to handle.
A Roc maybe? They have huge wings. They were mythological birds: "A gargantuan eagle form Arabic belief that has horns on its head an extremely large wings. Sinbad the sailor landed on an island made entirely out of wooden sticks and found a large dome. He then realised that he was in the nest of the Roc. When the Roc came he held on to its feet and was carried off. He then let loose and gently landed again without the Roc noticing that it had carried someone. - " This definitely would fit into Cyclops mythos stuff =p
PAIRS WELL WITH A CYCLOPS!! I FIGURED IT OUT!! Not sure how I feel about mounting Phillip J. Fry, though.
Hey, underwater mounts!! http://www.micrographia.com/specbiol/crustac/copepo/cope0100.htm#cyclopslink The "wings" are its egg sacs.
