And looks like an actual modern dog breed instead of just tame wolves! Not that there's anything wrong with wolves, it's just that after all this time, with similar-ish circumstances to Earth, you'd figure Norrath would have more of a variety of dog breeds, too... ;-> Uwk
And I forgot to also say thank you for the Jumpa - Lope all this mount needs now is a pouch and it would be a Noarthian kangaroo.
I agree! It's nice to have some realistic looking and "normal" type of elements in the world, which is one of the reasons that I like the new npc models that were introduced with the new expac. Not only do they look nice artistically, but they're also super detailed and they come with a somewhat different vibe too. We live in a magical world around here, which means lots of fantasy and mythical creatures, so a bit of "normal" stuff is good every now and then. There are a lot of things from the animal world that I'd love to see too (has anyone ever seen a giraffe for example?).
Give 'em time; how long did it take 'em to come out with actual cattle we could actually milk, instead of relying on like getting milk from mammoths or whatever? ;-> Uwk
In another game I used to play the way you milked a cow was hit it on the head with the bucket...funny as heck.
Hmm! If that game is older than EQ2, maybe that's where they got the idea for getting the hops guy's attention for that Brewday quest... ;-> Uwk
LOL, yes it's older. And amazingly still around. Even when the company that bought it (then sold it) actively tried to kill it.
Back to the technical aspects of look and feel... It seems like every time I log in on my Windows 10 laptop, especially if it's a toon I haven't been in on for awhile, seemingly, every single last one of my bloody li'l windows and hot bars are all over the dang place, in what I can only presume is the ancient-of-days default position, which I don't like. I like the functionality of them all and don't want a 3rd party UI, and I know about the "oh, just adjust them the way you want and do a /save_UIsettings," but how do I stop it from happening in the first place? :-/ It doesn't do this on my main gaming rig/Win7 desktop; it seems to be a Windows 10 thing? Or perhaps a 17" screen (lappie) vs. 15" screen (desktop monitor)? Because I have "fixed" all my Horde at one time or another for the lappie, especially around Frostfell (YOU try getting 130+ toons their Santa Glug gifties in a reasonable amount of time if the damned windows and hot bars scatter into old, weird positions), but to no avail, it seems. X-P Uwk
My guess is it is due to the screen size change. I know that happened when I played EQ. I got a bigger monitor, and the UI went all over. I had to move things around to the way I wanted them. But Uwk, come over to the DarqUI, we have virtual chocolate cookies. At least I have them.
Nah; it'd take me too long to learn it. Uwk who just recently (like, today) got a TWENTY-ONE POINT FIVE INCH monitor, after the old 15" desktop one finally died...we'll see how that goes...
Well, after getting into the game again since, yeah, there are some things a bit akimbo, but nothing a bit of shifting about wouldn't cure. What Windows 10 does, apparently, is reset every single bloody position back to default, which takes a hell of a lot longer to wrestle around. X-P Glad to have my baby back working. Uwk
So, I shouldn't mention I got a 40" when they went on sale so the store could sell 4k monitors ? Only 1920 x 1080 though.
