Lavastorm Shinies

I vaguely remember something about Lavastorm and level 50 needed but I went in there yesterday with my lev 44 SK and he could survive but any shinies I picked up I couldn't use because "your level is too low"? Why is that? If I can play in a zone why can't I collect the shinies?

Because the Lavastorm collection quests you are referring to actually came out in I think TSO, but rewarded level 55 Charms that ended with the Corruption of Elements Charm. On Previous TLEs people would use those level 55 Collections to power level characters, so they decided to put a level restriction on how soon you could use them.

OK thanks. But would it not have been simpler to just change a few rewards. /shrug

It's not the rewards, it was the amount of experience gain from level 55 Collections.

yes and I think they already changed enough gear as it is thank you very much .
Be happy they so far only did that to the Lavastorm shinnies and not others .
