lacking tanks which tank is in the best position?

i rolled a pally just hope they are in a good spot? any advice? stats and such?

Its all about Potency nowadays. Crit Bonus and Ability Mod are up there also. I have a Paladin and have no real issues with getting things done, our DPS is a bit low tho but we arent meant for that anyways

okay so which stat should i be focusing on most? Pot?

paladins are good

if you have enough HP to resist hits, the self heals are awesome

focus on mit, hate mod, potency, cap crit bonus, CB overcap ... double cast

I feel we are back to where a Paladin's role should be. 3rd Off Tank. We can save a raid, we can save the day.
While our support to other classes has slipped and should be noted by the dev's, we are doing well.
Personal DPS is good in my opinion, but it's just nice to fill our designed role again. I am enjoying it well.

To further add to Nan's post, Paladin is a fun class, not by any means perfect, but still a joy to play.
