Issues on Kael Drakkel...

I'm not sure if it's just me, I've created/deleted several characters of different classes... the outcome is always the same.

When I spawn into that snow otter village at Level 90 on KD, with a mount, speed buff items/spells, a run speed of 140%... I move more slowly than molasses in January as the saying goes... I'm soooooooooo sloooooooowww.

Anyone know why?

My second issue is that not a single one of my existing KD characters, nor new ones mentioned above, can zone out of where they are.

If I try to use a Mariner Bell... nothing happens at all.

If I try to fast travel on the map, either nothing happens, or I'm told that there's a Marketplace transaction in process, (even though there isn't), so I can't zone now.

Neither problem cited above occurs on Skyfire with any of my characters.

I can zone just fine, I zoned to the snow otter village and move around just fine at full speed.

Anyone have any insight on this?

The KD that you're on now is not the same. They offered free transfer tokens just before they shut down the old server.

I would guess that your old characters need to be transferred for things to work correctly. The reason they work on Skyfire is, I think, due to the fact that it has been the same server/database on which you previously played.

Are you thinking of Kaladim? I'm pretty sure Kael Drakkel has never shut down since it opened early last year.

They may have just updated the ruleset, so I'm not sure. I thought it was taken offline to update the server about the same time Tarinax was permanently taken offline. Or, it could be another Mandela Moment (TM) =P

Have you tried maybe the run key? Sometimes I accidently hit it and end up very slow. There is a run/walk in your knowledge book you can check out. Also check your ui to make sure what key you have it set up on.
