As the title asks... No joke this game was pointless on free-to-play and even with a sub was just a face numbing grind of RNG gear that leads you right to a credit card or a loaded gun just to make it stop.

What would make you think anything changed? My personal guess is that the split will allow the owners to sell off portions of the company piecemeal.

The split could be a way to distance themselves with daybreak becoming a bad name. The time to make positive changes can now be done without players spitting at the name.

Also their plans to make a new EverQuest game should come with a change in practice to the current IP's if they want a good portion of their customer base to return, while also showing new players they know what they are doing.

This feels like it's going to go off the rails quickly.

locked for now unless someone would like to pm a strong argument for why it should stay open.
