How long after the Shattering is EQ II set?

    I read the stories and couldn't quite work it out. Is the Shattering 500 years after EQ I, sometime between EQ I and EQ II or has it only ust happened?

    The shattering happened about 10 to 15 years before EQ2 picks up.
