one of new wish of mine to add. remember that Wispy vampire mirror with frame? want without a frame, just transplant wall like, with easy walk thru on both sides. blinking red eyes in shadow, seemly getting larger then vanish, several eyes appearing randomly, devs could add green eyes in "forest" mirage wall, blue eyes in frozen ice mirage, and how about purple eyes in planar/dimensional. like if someone is/are watching you. if cant do illusionary wall, could always use the floor tiles.
I wouldn't mind seeing building blocks from ROK and TOV zones. I know halls of mutation has some beautiful walls and floors, and there are places in JW that have red brick designs. I also wouldn't mind seeing building blocks from past expansions appear on the loyalty merchant or city merchants. Also, the glowy red and blue trees from DOV (i'm totally drawing a blank on the names for these, but they're so pretty it's hard for anyone to not know which ones i'm talking of....)
[emphases mine] Apparently, the glowy red trees are still available as the reward from a collection, but no matter how much we plead and beg, apparently the Powers aren't going to bring back the blue ones any time soon. Which is weird, since they've brought back everything else, just about, from the Druid Ring and Wizard Spire events, and not just the dorky clothing sets. :-/ I completely agree with everything, especially the building blocks request! Unfortunately, they only seem to show up in the uber-super-duper high-priced collector's editions (if they show up as well in the "mere" $90 CEs [I usually stop looking at that point], my apologies for misremembering), so I think the only place we MIGHT see them would be on the Marketplace, and probably for 100 DBC each, rather than 10, like the others we have now. And we'd probably have to wait for 2 years for each set, since the CE would still be available for purchase until then. :-/ Uwk
oh, but I would buy so many of these things in bulk!! that $90 is why I don't have them. i'm on a very limited budget, and unfortunately, can't spend $90 for entertainment, no matter how much I try to justify and wish for it, which makes me totally sad puppy cause I *LOVE* the decorating in the game.
They REALLY NEED TO MAKE THAT HEARTSTONE in the Shard of Love A HOUSE ITEM and not JUST Guild Hall! AND . . . more than ONE PLEASE???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would really have liked having one in Bellatryx's Masquarade Ball chaple! * taps mic* **anyone listening????** And while we are on the subject. . . How about giving us the Glass Coffin as a house item too??? Maybe a new item for next year?? And maybe make the heartstone drop less often than the Wings/mount and the Wings/mount MORE often. Seems to me that the wrong thing is a rare drop. . I can't tell you how tired I am of getting the Heartstone on a constant basis and never being able to use it, but NEVER get the wings! I think Erollisi Day could stand a few changes. (I have been going in with every character I own for a month now triying for those wings and STILL NOTHING. But I have sure as heck gotten the heartstone all the time.
Quiarrah, i have one, i have a trick to able to get one, you just need to mentor down, if i remember, it been awhile, i think at 40/50/60 levels, not as your current level or it is harder for a drop you want. i think it scaled reward. you can get that in any time of the year trying, not that seasonal festival zones. i dont know if it still there, i am away from eq2 for 2 yrs, just weeks before SOE drop and change to DBG. i did same trick when to mentor down for rare paladin helm in Vault of Najena, deep in lavastorm. they have 4 helm versions, roman/greek helm model, i have green, black, red and 4th color i forget, think it might be blue.
Did you go for the Pally helm for the stats or the appearance? 'Cause it sounds like those might look like the Snappy Red, Blue, or Green helmets you can make pretty easily at a Frostfell crafting station... ;-> Uwk /running_quickly_away_while_ducking
yes, you got that right, i use for appearance, for my paladin plus, my dirge look good. with his own style. dont know how to post a pic, it been awhile. still waiting for my new PC so i can play eq2.
Depends on what 3rd-party website you have for photo albums. The one I use is deviantart.com, where I Publish a screenshot picture there, then right-click on it and select View Image, which gets me to a page with just that image on it and a URL where it can be found at the top of the screen. I'll copy the URL. Once I get back here to a post I'm writing, I'll click on the little icon that looks like a tree, and paste the URL into where it asks for it. Voila! Posted screenshot. Your Mileage May Vary, of course, depending on how many steps it takes with your 3rd-party site. Good luck! Hope you can join us again soon! Uwk
/sigh That'd be nice, though we've been asking for a REAL Wardrobe for eons, and we got something that DESTROYS anything we put into it. Are they down to their last storage server? Is that why there's "no room" for anything in the 25-30 houses they let us have per character? :-/ Uwk
It's true that they always said for the longest time that they couldn't do water-type tiles without some sort of frame, and then we got them (and the Misty tiles)...I wonder if it could be something similar to that. /ponder On the other hand, I wonder what sort of effect that would have, frankly; the water tiles we have don't really reflect like water does in RL (probably one reason they made them have a rippling, moving surface), and I had a triptych of three mirrors in a house I decorated recently that were angled too close to each other, apparently, because only one at a time could work, rather than all three at various angles like a real life mirror set. :-/ Putting mirror tiles too close to each other across from each other might cancel out both of them? Could actually be a cool effect, if you plan for that, come to think... ;-> Uwk
Can we get the glass oval items ( wall mounts) in more solid colours ( yellow/gold, orange, pink,white, black, transparent, brown, dark/pale...), also round, rectangular tall, wide..., also floor tile same colours round, triangle, dividers.. .... I really enjoy decorating with those ! Please,please
