Can someone tell me what the trick is to put all of the guild crafting stations in one place then put a piece of furniture over it so that you dont have to click on any of them?

I have tried it many different ways, but some of the crafting stations just dont seem to work. Then I get frustrated and have half of them just poking out of the floor and spread all over again.

    thank you

in my crafting house (Skyfire - TD2 - owner Arafa), i've got the simple machines for research and tinkering dailies in the center of the front room and the elaborate machines in the center of the back room.

i put each one down in the center of the room. saved the Layout File and using a Text Editor, flipped them to be upside down (this is easier with editing the layout file than using decorator mode). then i used Decorator Mode to lower each one to be just below the floor. it's important they aren't too low so mine are all just below the carpeting i put down.

    sample for front room:
    Code:
    1450625498,87131394,7.97953415,-1.00000000,0.18943639,0.00000000,0.00000000,179.89999390,1.00000000, false,"Simple Work Bench"

it's the 179.899 right before the 1.0 for size that's important. it should be very close to 180 but not quite or you might get problems. if you have problems with some of them still not working - try making them larger.

excuse edits please - haven't had coffee yet. maybe the whole difference is that i have carpet on the floor in Arafa's house - 3 layers actually; 1 covering the whole floor and a couple more marking the bull's eye for standing to craft. in my other crafting house (Skyfire - EFP at the inn - Veradusky), i don't have carpet and some of the stations didn't work well and do stick out of the floor a bit.

either that and/or in Arafa's house, the stations are default size but in Dusky's house, they're huge. the object hook point may be just a tiny bit up from the bottom of the object and this would get magnified as the object is enlarged leading to having the actual hook point at ground level with some pieces sticking out.

if you still have problems, i'm fairly sure i have a toon on every server but kaladim and i'd be happy to come help in the next week or so - send me a pm here on the forum

Quick and dirty is to use the in-game editor (Ctrl E to active/deactivate). Stack your stations, click on one and then use the red arrow icon (I think it's on the right side of the circle). Turn the station upside down, select next station and do the same. Don't forget to Ctrl E when you are done to turn off decorator mode.

There are more elegant ways to do this task, in a pinch this works.

I think Gracee posted a specific instruction thread on this, you might search her posts.
