Hi all Just got my new wizard char added to this account from my free account he was made instant 85 char back when it was free and now I want do a tradeskill with him like my other 9 level 95 crafters. Any suggestion one what to make my 10th crafter considering I already have I of each trade now. I was thinking about the next expansion and was going to making a spell or ca toon to make grandmaster items. I checked and found out they will be drops not player made.So what do you think I should make? Anything know anything about the next expansion that would be useful to have more than one of the same craftsman?
No matter what you make, it's redundant. I ended up with a 10th crafter (on a separate account) and it was a sage until I remembered how annoying writs can be for scholars, so I made him a provi. I also went that way because there are no advanced books to deal with for most levels.
Hello there Macatk, I had nine crafters also and I said I would have no more. Then I wanted a Paly, Swashy, ect, ect. I really am going to stop now on my 13th Warrior. sure I am. My suggestion is you go with a craft that you enjoy doing because you really don't need number 10 anyway.
I have a couple of extra characters as well and I thought I should have made one of them a tinkerer instead of making my carpenter one. I don't have a transmutter yet, so maybe I will do that with one of my extras once I get the last two up to 95.
Cool well in addition my normal crafters 4 now have max skill transmuter skill want to have all my level 95 adventurers max transmuter. I my main toon Bashem a 95 Berserker/Carpenter is also max skill adorner as well as can make any ToV Etyma recipe. All my 95 crafters have pack pony and goblins so never need to harvest stuff as I have 2 Depots in my house as well as all crafting tables including Frostfell tables All 9 crafters have there do there epic to get their Earring of the Solstice and master cloaks. I can make any of the 9 parts of the The Proof in the Pudding quest which is great now since the parts can be made are heirloom and I put needed items in my spare bank to use. I knew someone long time ago that had 2 accounts and he basically got me hooked on what he did was to have 9 max level crafters and adventures. I have most of the Tradeskill Apprentice recipes at least the highers level recipes and all of I dont know why but Coldain Shawl never interested me as something I wanted to have. I have 2 of the Hands of The Maker gloves. I might get more of these in the future. Hope the links help and sorry if any dupes just wanted to share them to everyone. I keep trying to decide if I want to level redundant crafters. Part of me says, no, been there, done that. Part of me says..... flying, harvesting pony, harvesting goblin. I'm not sure which one of me will win in the end.
I wanted goblin and harvest pony mainly but can be used when making apprentice recipes could split them between 2 crafters. If you already have all your apprentice recipes then not a big deal until next expansion comes out and can then could do it that way.
ALL of my characters craft, even if I don't exactly work on leveling the crafting. That Research Apprentice and those potions you can get for doing the dailies.....Some toons, that's all the crafting they ever do.
I will say it here too if you want to check out someone who has too much time to craft (namely me) and you have a spare character slot, come to Everfrost and visit "Ahupu's Apprentice Station" on the housing leaderboard hall of fame. Let's just say Kuulei stopped by (after picking up her apprentice daily and crafting the item but not turning it in) and her eloquent comment was "J**** C****!" -Asterisks are mine, because I respect any of those who have strong religious convictions enough not to possibly offend.
