Hello! I am returning to EQII after a long hiatus and just downloaded and installed the game from Steam. The launcher has verified the files and is attempting to update to the current build but getting a lot of errors, mostly timeouts on downloading and replacing certain files. Is this something that has been ongoing? Thank you for your time!
Timeouts on downloading are a problem communicating along the interwebz. You might stop the Launcher, then start it up again. You might also see about rebooting your router and modem.
Personally, I would go to the EQ2 Homepage and download the full version from there. I am not positive, but I do not think anything on Steam for EQ2 has been worked on in more than 2 years.
