Good to see the changes across a number of classes, will Bards get any updates to their CA's which are quite poor in hitting. VC being adjusted to do more damage would also make it worth while to use, right now the AA's used don't seem worth it. Final thing could ready up reset both CA/Spells for bards/ other hybrid classes. If I had a preference on my troub I would prefer it to reset spells rather than my CA's.
Adding more flurry and multipliers to group buffs, but will auto attack overall be looked into? Currently all the additions of auto attack stats to group buffs are meaningless. Tower shields also needs to be looked at. Plate tank uncontested avoidance is kinda yicky.
So now something that if we only wanted to put one point into, we have to roll 3 and have to pull from somewhere else. Just fix the issue not force us into spending three points. Yes I know if I don’t want to spend three I don’t have to take them, but any player who wouldn’t, well should re-evaluate. Fix the problem caith, not force us all into the same spec. Might as well just said here is 20 new aas but here is how you’re spending them lol
No update for troubadour... well isn't our combat arts and spell a bit poor compared to some classes that got upgraded? Or at least our buff, some are quite old and not aligned with current content...for example ayonic inspiration who do really really poor damage it must have been good 3 expact or even more but now well it is like having nothing or graceful avoidance with a poor max health boost... and all the buff that do WdB by a quite poor amount for nowadays...
yeah sk doesnt have a proper ready up only works on ca's which we need ot reset both ca and spells. the one prestige node that boosts flurry honestly should be flurry multi i dont see flurry as desired as a must have stat vs ability dblcast.
So instead of spending 1pt for 120s re-trigger rate, 2pts for 100s re-trigger rate, and 3pts for 80s re-trigger rate, we just jump directly to the 80s one in a single tier? Meaning it's finally fixed? Right now it feels broken and 120s no matter what tier you have...
I haven't been able to log in to see if this was pushed live yet, but hopefully it is 80s with 80s re-trigger instead of 80/120 at 3 points.
it costs 3 points now, but it's not 80 sec, it's the same as rank 1 was before at 120 seconds. There's also a new bug with it. Other reset skills are causing ready ups 120 second lockout to be set, and in turn makes ready up fail. Based on the wording that's not supposed to happen, ready up proccing should lock out other skills, but other skills resetting before ready up goes off, should not stop ready up. Some examples now are assassinate resets from casting in plain sight, and shadow step resets from casting quick strike. Both of these are setting the 120 second global lockout and stopping ready up from working when it procs. It ends up proccing and resetting nothing. As often as some of these reset, quick strike resetting shadow step for example, it permanently disables ready up altogether. It's a pretty serious bug. Recapture procs are also disabling ready up.
On Live because of the different timers: 1 point ready up triggers every 120s 2 points ready up triggers every 500s 3 points ready up triggers every 240s Code: Next trigger blocked until Result 0 120 success 80 120 fail 160 240 fail 240 240 success Code: 0 100 success 100 120 fail 200 240 fail 300 360 fail 400 480 fail 500 success So on live best solution was 1 point.. beta changes are nothing more than a nerf, beside bugs by bord mentioned
Can we please fix Ready Up to work on BOTH spells and CA please? Right now hybrid classes are not fully benefiting from this AA. Making it work for both spell/CA won't make hybrids OP etc as the current "best" classes are not hybrids and they fully benefit from this AA.
And got nothing to do with being OP ... for anyone that ISNT a hybrid it resets everything for the class.. Not so for hybrids.. Its litterally just the fact that there is hybrids and they are an afterthought every time it seems
Was somewhat surprised to see bards completely ignored in an alleged GU class update. How unfortunate. Apparently, we no longer serve any purpose.
Scouts in general have been ignored for a long time, apart from the recent nerfs on sin and BL. Bards need a boost of their CA/spells. So many do very low damage. VC should get increased damage output and auto attack still looks dead.
Also please fix the msg, so when my group member's readyup proc I don't get the game to tell me that I am burning up
Maybe go back about 6 months and start reading posts about AA revamps and reconstructing classes posted by devs. So, you think it makes sense to virtually touch every scout class but bards and that looks ok? Six months ago, "all the classes were being rewritten and designed." And yes, they in fact said "every class." With the exception of mages, I should add, since they were already reworked. There are some bugs within the mage classes since that time that need to be worked out.
I don't disagree. At least, upgrade buffs and things bards are supposed to do so it's current in this xpac. Dexterous Sonata is laughable as a buff for starters. The list is long and glorious.
Just remove the reset lockout. It has never worked, Illy Timelord already ignores lockouts, so that leaves what, Swashbuckers and they only reset CAs anyway.
