Game does not start correctly

    I have been having an issue today. I am able to log into the Launch pad, but after the game appears to start (main game play page opens) after a few seconds, it closes down again and the launch pad appears again on the screen. Is anyone else having this issue. I have reinstalled the game, but it appears to have the same issue.

    (1) Have you rebooted your computer?
    (2) When Launchpad is up, click the Advanced Tools button (has a crossed hammer and wrench) and ask it to validate files.

    Also, make sure your computer's firewall is not blocking the program.

    This sounds similar to an issue I've had a few times.

    When it happens, open your task manager and make sure there is not an instance of EQ2 shadow-running. If there is close it and try again.

    While the failed launch is still running, it won't launch the game again for some reason.
