Not really, it's true gear is not that important in lower level zones do to the stat caps they put in place. However, at 80 + the gear did make a noticeable difference.
I know another place where level 90 gear and stats only make a difference in the upper reaches of the game: It's called the live servers, and they're free. Now that's a place where practically all rares, glowies and quests aren't invalidated, and where thousands of server drops aren't forced to become tedious vendor trash (including most of your bland, repetitive crate items)...that's a place where you're not forced to tow along a chanter/Defiler, scrap for mana stones and shut off all your buffs just so your power can regen after killing 2 lowbie trash mobs, in every zone below Sundered Frontier....and when you're Mentored on live, you can /unmentor than /rementor to fill up your power instantly... which you can't do on Kael. Good grief. People should make sure they're truly fine with the actual mechanics of this server before they sink a lot of money into it at least. Deleting the beta forums a day before the beta was over was both insulting to all beta participants, and foolish. The feedback is now bleeding over to the permanent forums instead.
In all honesty, just disregard anything SF & Above. All the Proc armour/ Turquoise’s are lower level And considering how stat scaling is so poor…. Just rock proc armour in all the slots the cap would have effected….
