YES!! This is stupid, o devs. If you're going to make him nonfunctional, why is he still there, and where was the warning for this? :-/ Uwk who does believe that it affects the Freeport dude, as well (also named Finch? It's been awhile since I've checked)
{tickle} Breathe, please. As far as we know, it was a bug when someone was clearing the beta version of him up after the beta ended, and they got the Freeport/Qeynos version of him on Test at the same time. Now that the devs are back in the office, they're tackling the Live-impacting issues first, then they'll get to Test. (Kander has already been notified that Finch is being a Scrooge).
He can haunt Finch until Finch agrees to start carrying items again, instead of being an empty vendor tease.
While Finch's inventory is still kaput, low level characters on Test have started noticing buff baubles (no trade) in their bags for TS and adventuring both. (Level 110) Thank you to whicher dev slipped that in without telling us.
