EQ2 Creatures

    Meatbeast is fine and all, but I wouldn't say it's exactly an ICONIC creature of EQ2.

    In my mind, something which is iconic is something which anyone familiar with EQ2 would instantly recognize. If they just saw a picture of something looking like it, EQ2 would be the first thing they thought of.

    To be iconic does it have to be absolutely unique? Could it just be something which may have existed in EQ1 but was pretty minor, only to become a major deal in EQ2?

    There are SOOOO many fantasy monsters that people have dreamed up it's hard to imagine much being truly unique.

    Were there Bugbears like the Krulkiel in EQ1? Or what about the Ettins?

    Bugbears and Ettins are common Dungeons and Dragons fodder, they're not unique to EQ2 at -all-.
